Skiing safe by distance

Most of our services can be booked online. This means there is no need to go to the ski school office, thus eliminating one contact point.

Of course, you can also book all courses in our main office or in the office at the summit station II. We ask that you comply with the distance regulation and wear mouth and nose protection. In addition, only 1 person per family should come to the office to make a booking in order to avoid crowds of people.

Mouth & nose protection / hand disinfection
In all areas of Skischule Optimal (office, restaurant, meeting points), we ask our guests to wear mouth and nose protection and keep a safe distance. The office, the children’s restaurant, and the hut in the children’s park are equipped with disinfectant dispensers, and we ask that guests disinfect their hands upon entering and leaving.

During the main holiday periods, we have staggered course times and lunch times to avoid large crowds of people and ensure that distance can be maintained in the children’s restaurant. We also have new numbered meeting points for each group in the children’s park so that better orientation is possible. We ask that only 1 parent or chaperone bring children to the lessons and pick them up and stay for as short a time as possible.

The ski race will continue to take place weekly. We are optimizing the starting intervals in order to avoid any congestion and crowding. Due to the current situation, awards will be handed out by the ski instructor on the same day. The times for the start of the race and awards ceremony will be announced the day before. ATTENTION! NEW! This season, the final race for all participants is on Thursday. The race takes place on a new racing route in the children’s park behind our 40-meter long magic carpet. For organizational reasons, only children who have a ski course until Thursday can participate in the race.

For our employees, we do everything possible in terms of safety. In addition to correct instructions and codes of conduct, we ensure good accommodation and work conditions and carry out systematic testing upon the slightest suspicion. They are also obligated to always have mouth and nose protection available and use it if the minimum distance can’t be maintained.

In order to prevent the virus from spreading as quickly as quickly as possible, if a ski course participant tests positive for Covid-19, we need the correct information for all guests (cell phone number, accommodations, e-mail). This information will be kept and handled in compliance with the data protection regulation.

If, despite all precautionary measures we have taken, you get a bad feeling at short notice or you don’t feel 100% fit, we offer a free cancellation without giving reasons on all courses booked online up to 7 days prior to the beginning of the course.
